Regent Betty Bercik and the members of the Applegate Idaho Trail Chapter welcome you! We are one of twelve chapters in the state and members of the National Society Daughters of the American Revolution (NSDAR or DAR). Our members are from a wide area surrounding the Payette area. Our chapter was organized March 5, 2018. We are named Applegate Idaho Trail in honor of the three Applegate brothers, Charles, Jesse, and Lindsay, who after much hardship on the Oregon Trail were determined to find a safer route to the Oregon Territory.
Mission: Our members are dedicated to the mission and three major objectives of the DAR: historic preservation, education, and patriotism. It is our pleasure to serve our country by preserving the memory and spirit of the men and women who fought or gave service in the cause of freedom and independence during the American Revolutionary War.
Meetings: Our meetings are the first Thursday of each month, September to May. If you are interested in attending a meeting as a guest, please contact us.
Membership: If you are 18 or over, have a Revolutionary ancestor, and can document your lineage, we are happy to help you with your application for membership. Please contact us for assistance.
