Members of Applegate Idaho Trail Chapter, NSDAR welcome you! We are one of fifteen chapters in the state and members of the National Society Daughters of the American Revolution (NSDAR or DAR). Our members are from a wide area surrounding the Payette area. Our chapter was organized on March 5, 2018. We are named Applegate Idaho Trail in honor of the three Applegate brothers, Charles, Jesse, and Lindsay, who after much hardship on the Oregon Trail were determined to find a safer route to the Oregon Territory.
Our members are dedicated to the mission and the three objectives of the DAR; historic preservation, education, and patriotism. It is our pleasure to serve our country by preserving the memory and spirit of the men and women who fought or gave service to the cause of freedom and independence during the American Revolutionary War.
Our chapter holds monthly meetings from September to May. If you are interested in attending a meeting as a guest, please contact us!
If you are 18 years of age or older, have an American Revolutionary War ancestor, and you can document your lineage, we will be happy to help you with your membership application. Please contact us for assistance.
Thank you for visiting our website! We hope you find the information useful as you continue to explore the possibilities of DAR!
